Drew Wilson to take over CU Strength & Conditioning
Boulder, Colorado — The University of Colorado Buffaloes have hired new strength and conditioning coach Drew Wilson. Wilson comes to Colorado from the University of Maryland where he was the director of strength and conditioning. As reported earlier this week, the vacancy left at Maryland by Wilson will be filled by former Mississippi State strength and conditioning coach Rick Court.
Wilson’s resume includes stints at the University of Connecticut, the University of Kansas and Florida State University. Wilson is from Yardley, Pennsylvania and played football at King’s College. Wilson is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. He is a Level One coach from the United States Weightlifting Association and is also certified in the Functional Movement Screen.
