About CSCS Study Questions
Hi Everybody! Feel free to browse through my notes and CSCS study questions to prepare for the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam. The material available may also help you study for the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) certification, a personal training certification, or it might be helpful with regular coursework in sport & exercise science and kinesiology.
The material on this site is primarily based on the topics recommended for the NSCA CSCS exam and uses the Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning textbook (4th edition), by Thomas R. Baechle and Roger W. Earle (3rd edition) and G. Gregory Haff and N. Travis Triplett (4th edition), as the primary resource. Answering CSCS study questions, is an efficient way to study for the CSCS exam without having to read through pages upon pages of material. CSCS study questions try to get at the most important concepts in the Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning textbook so that you’ll be able to apply those concepts to a variety of questions on test day. It’s too difficult to remember every single detail contained in the book so my CSCS study questions are designed to help you think your way through the answer-picking process to select the most reasonable answer available.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the study questions or subject areas covered on this site, just leave a comment with the specifics of your question and I’ll try to help. Just be cool. Another great way to study the material is to see if you can come up with your own CSCS study questions. I welcome user submissions of CSCS study questions, so please feel free to send any to david[at]cscsquestions.com.
