Ryan Filo named Named Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at UTSA
San Antonio, Texas — University of Texas San Antonio announces the hiring of Ryan Filo as head football strength and conditioning coach and Spencer Ross as assistant football strength and conditioning coach. Filo makes the move to Texas after spending seven years at LSU, including the past nine months as the associate director. Filo was also the assistant strength and conditioning coach for LSU football from 2011 – 2015.

Jeff Dillman new Director of Strength & Conditioning at South Carolina
Columbia, South Carolina — University of South Carolina will be brining in Jeff Dillman as the new Director of Football Strength & Conditioning. Dillman joins the Gamecocks after spending one season as an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Alabama. Prior to that, he worked on Coach Muschamp’s staff at the University of Florida as the Director of Strength & Conditioning.

NSCA TSAC Conference Keynote Speaker Announced
San Diego, California — Lt. Col. Dave Grossman is an internationally recognized scholar, author, soldier, and speaker who will be presenting on the psychological preparation of performance in combat. Col. Grossman was an Airborne Ranger infantry officer, and a prior-service sergeant and paratrooper, with a total of over 23 years of experience in leading U.S. soldiers worldwide. Since retiring in 1998, he has devoted himself full-time to teaching, writing, speaking, developing research, and training elite military and law enforcement organizations worldwide about the reality of combat.
Grossman will be presenting at the National Strength and Conditioning Association TSAC conference on Tuesday April 26, 2016. The conference runs from April 26 – 28, 2016 at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley.
